Temporary Equipment Outages

While the National Weather Service VHF Weather Radio broadcasts from the Mt Robert Baron and Althorp Peak are back online, the Manleyville and Sukkwan Island High Sites are still off the air or intermittent and awaiting repairs. Manleyville broadcasts on 162.5 MHz, and Sukkwan broadcasts on 162.425. Problems at the sites will require technicians to travel to the mountain-top transmitters. As always, at this time of the year, travel will be highly weather dependent.

The Sukkwan Island Weather Radio broadcast is available from the Craig transmitter on 162.475 MHz or by dialing 826-7100.
