Search Database
A variety of special data searches can be performed with this option. Large data files can be quickly scanned for extremes, averages, totals, or occurrences of various input criteria. Occurrences can be evaluated in terms of consecutive days, frequencies, or first and last events in a given time period. Date limits can also refine the search results.
First the Search Type is selected from the drop-down menu, then the weather parameter (Maximum Temp, Minimum Temp, etc.) is selected. Optionally, the Beginning Date and Ending Date can be changed to limit the months or years used in the search.
The number of records that will be displayed in the "Highest", "Lowest" and "Consecutive Days" search can be changed with the "Number of Records" slidebar.
